About the Couple

Some journeys begin with a single swipe, and for Sara and Devin, that swipe led to the greatest adventure of their lives. Sara, from Janesville, and Devin, from Stoughton, eventually found themselves building a life together in Milton. Both Sara and Devin have careers centered around helping others. Sara is a nurse, and Devin is a lineman, making compassion a part of who they are every day. While they both have caring hearts, their relationship is filled with laughter, playful sarcasm, and an easygoing spirit that makes every day together fun.

The Engagement

Devin had every intention of waiting until the perfect moment, but there was one problem. He is not very good at keeping surprises. When the engagement ring arrived weeks earlier than expected, he simply could not wait.

As they sat together in their living room beside the Christmas tree, Devin handed Sara a package that had arrived that very day. Inside was a sweatshirt that read "Future Mrs. Sieling." Before Sara could fully process what she was seeing, Devin was already down on one knee. Completely surprised, she was so shocked it took her a moment before saying the easiest yes of her life.

The Big Day

Many of the beautiful details throughout the day were handcrafted by Devin and Sara's grandfather, including the centerpiece boxes, the cupcake stand, and the table for their sand ceremony.
