About the Couple

Sometimes the best love stories begin with a simple swipe. For Krista and Randy, what started with a match on Bumble quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Krista, from Watertown, and Randy, from Mukwonago, soon discovered they had an unexpected connection. Randy had actually grown up next door to Krista's cousins. It was a small world that made their story feel even more special from the very beginning.

The Engagement

On September 29, 2024, Krista and Randy spent the day in Lake Geneva enjoying a relaxing boat tour. Afterward, Randy asked Krista where she wanted to have dinner. She chose The Ridge, the same place where they had celebrated their first dating anniversary. Little did she know Randy had been carrying a very special surprise with him all day.

After dinner, as they stood together in the parking lot, Randy got down on one knee and asked Krista to marry him. Completely surprised, Krista happily said yes. Randy later admitted he had been trying to find the perfect moment all day, and it turned out that the moment after dinner was exactly right.

The Big Day

On June 21, 2025, Krista and Randy celebrated their love with a beautiful rustic outdoor wedding surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. Their day reflected everything they love, from the natural beauty of the setting to the warm and welcoming atmosphere shared with family and friends.

When searching for the perfect venue, they toured several locations. The moment they walked upstairs at The Hay Loft Barn and looked out through the doors at the breathtaking view, they both knew they had found the place where they wanted to begin their next chapter together.
