The Hay Loft’s  indoor and outdoor space can accommodate weddings of all sizes, whether it be a small intimate gathering or the party of the year. The barn has two levels for optimal party flow. Here is a list of amenities we offer to meet the needs of all our guests:

  • Handicap accessibility everywhere on property 

  • Private bridal room located on the lower level of the barn​

  • Indoor restrooms on the lower level

  • 300 max guest seating capacity for dinner on upper level

  • 500 guest capacity for reception

  • 72" round tables (seats 10) and chairs included

  • Both indoor and outdoor ceremony options

  • Decorative string lighting inside and outside for picturesque evening views

  • On-site parking available including parking attendants

  •  Temperature controlled in the lower level

  • Fully licensed bar and bartenders included, both levels (Class B Beer and Liquor licensed​)

  • Large patio with heaters-  weather dependent

FAQs

  • The two-story venue has both air conditioning and heat in the downstairs level.

    Due to the barn’s authentic and rustic nature, it is not feasible to insulate and fully climate-control the building. The barn does stay pretty mild inside year-round.

  • There are 6 handicap accessible parking spaces. Although no elevator on-site, there is a ramp you may utilize for easy access to the main level.

  • The well-kept men’s and women’s bathrooms are located only in the downstairs level of the venue. The bathrooms are ADA accessible.

  • All day access to the venue on your special day.

    All table and chairs used for inside the venue.

    On-site parking with 2 parking attendants

    We are proud to say that we have no hidden costs and do not "nickel and dime" you for our services. Your rental fee has all taxes included in it. Your discretionary deposit is laid out in you payment plan. The only "unknown" cost would be your bar bill. We can estimate how much you will spend at the bar and even put a limit on the bar bill to keep you within budget.​​ The bar bill will be paid the night of your event with 20% gratuity added onto the final total. Again, taxes are included in our drink prices.

  • No, you are free to pick any vendor(s) that best suits all your wedding wishes!

    We do have a list available of tried and trusted vendors if interested.

  • Absolutely! Weather dependent of course.

  • At this time, we are only providing wedding services.

  • A $1,000 down payment is required to reserve your date

    Next, there are 3 payments

    6 months prior to your date

    90 days prior to your date

    30 days prior to your date

  • Events held on Saturday, can begin at 9am and events must end at 12am Sun.

    Events held on Friday can begin at 9am and must end at 11pm.

  • Although not promised, we try our best to accommodate a 2-hour period for you to come the day before.

  • If you remain within the terms of your contract, you will receive the security deposit back within 2 weeks.

  • No, we are a cash only bar. We have an ATM on site!

 
 

Getting to The Hayloft Barn

Note:
Highway 16 is under construction during our 2025 wedding season. While Google Maps is currently providing the best real-time routes to The Hay Loft Barn, we’ve put together detailed directions below—just in case you run into detours or spotty service along the way.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as you make your way to celebrate with us at our countryside venue!

🚗 From Waukesha:

  1. Take Exit 275 for County Road F – Concord/Ixonia

  2. Turn left off the exit to head south on County Road F toward Concord

  3. Turn right onto County Road E, heading north toward Pipersville

  4. Turn right onto County Road P, heading east toward Ixonia (you’ll cross a bridge)

  5. Just after the bridge, turn left onto Hustisford Road

  6. In about a quarter mile, turn left onto River Road (next road on your left)

  7. Follow River Road to the end and turn right onto East Gate Drive

  8. Continue for a quarter mile—The Hay Loft Barn will be on your right

🏨 From Best Western in Watertown:

  1. Turn right onto S Church St

  2. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Boomer St

  3. At the stop sign, turn left onto S 12th St

  4. Take your next right onto Clark St

  5. At the next stop sign, turn left onto Humbolt Street

  6. Continue on Humbolt until the next stop sign, then turn right onto Richards Ave

  7. Take the next left onto Concord Ave

  8. Turn right onto Oconomowoc Ave

  9. Follow Oconomowoc Ave to the end and turn right onto E Gate Drive

  10. Continue on East Gate Drive for about 2 miles—The Hay Loft Barn will be on your right

🌳 From West Bend:

  1. Take US-45 S toward Milwaukee

  2. Merge onto I-41/US-45 S

  3. Take Exit 57 for WI-167 W/Holy Hill Rd

  4. Stay right and merge onto WI-167 W/Holy Hill Rd

  5. Continue on WI-167 W for 15 miles

  6. Turn left onto WI-83 S

  7. Follow WI-83 S for 16 miles

  8. Turn right onto County Road CW

  9. Stay on CW for 14 miles

  10. Turn left onto Hustisford Rd

  11. In about a mile, turn right onto Gopher Hill Rd

  12. Continue until your next left onto Ash Rd

  13. Follow Ash Rd to US-16 and cross over

  14. You’ll see The Hay Loft Barn straight ahead!
