About the Couple

Jakob and Madelynn’s story begins in Hartland, Wisconsin, where both grew up and attended Arrowhead High School. Though they knew of each other back then, it wasn’t until a mutual friend’s graduation party that their paths truly crossed. Their connection deepened during college, as fate seemed to keep placing them in the same places at the right times.

After graduation, Madelynn spent a few months living in Florida, but once she returned home, everything fell into place. The two began spending more time together — and the rest, as they say, is history.

The Engagement

Madelynn’s sister played the perfect accomplice in Jakob’s thoughtful proposal. What started as a simple sister dinner turned into an unforgettable surprise. When Madelynn returned to her parents’ house after dinner, she found Jakob standing by the lake with their puppy, Raven. As the water reflected the evening light, Jakob got down on one knee — and she said yes!
