About the Couple

Sometimes love finds you when you least expect it—and sometimes it finds you across the country. Ryan, originally from Wisconsin, and Alejandra, from sunny California, first connected online while Ryan was deployed in California. Their friendship quickly turned into something deeper, built on laughter, late-night talks, and shared dreams.

The Engagement

At the time, the couple was living in Georgia when Ryan suggested going for a hike after Alejandra got off work. As they walked along a peaceful lake, Ryan mentioned wanting to take a picture together. What Alejandra didn’t know was that he had a bigger plan in mind. He set up his camera to “capture the moment,” but when he returned, he dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him.

The moment was magical—except for one tiny detail. In all the excitement, Ryan forgot to hit the record button! Even without a video, it’s a memory they’ll never forget, perfectly imperfect and entirely theirs.

The Big Day

When it came time to choose a wedding venue, Alejandra knew exactly what she wanted—a barn wedding, but not a red barn. The moment she saw The Hay Loft Barn, she knew it was the one. Its charm, light wood tones, and peaceful country surroundings were everything she’d envisioned for their special day.

Their wedding day was a beautiful blend of love, laughter, and rustic elegance. Surrounded by family and friends from near and far, Alejandra and Ryan celebrated their journey—from meeting across the miles to finally saying “I do” under the warm glow of The Hay Loft Barn.
