About the Couple

Miranda and Hunter’s story started with a simple introduction through family, but it quickly became something much more special. Hunter grew up in Madison while Miranda grew up in Watertown. The two were introduced through Miranda’s cousin, who happened to be living in Las Vegas at the time. After Hunter returned home from visiting, the pair went on their very first date, and the rest quickly became history.

The Engagement

Their engagement story is one they will never forget, especially because it came during a birthday celebration that almost did not go as planned. On November 19th, the couple gathered with family for an early birthday and Thanksgiving dinner celebration. Between the chaos of preparing dinner and a turkey that was still far too cold for the smoker, everything was running behind schedule.

But in the end, it all turned out perfectly.

After dinner, Miranda’s family brought out a birthday cake while everyone sang Happy Birthday. Just when Miranda thought the celebration was winding down, Hunter disappeared for a moment before returning with another cake in hand. Written across the top were the words “Will You Marry Me.” With a ring in one hand and the cake in the other, Hunter got down on one knee and asked Miranda to spend forever with him. It was heartfelt, unexpected, and perfectly them.

The Big Day

Miranda and Hunter planned a beautiful rustic barn wedding filled with personal touches and meaningful details. Their vision included a warm country atmosphere complete with rustic décor and centerpieces featuring Hunter’s favorite Jack Daniel’s bottles.

They chose The Hay Loft Barn because of its charming rustic country feel and the perfect space it provides for celebrating alongside all their family and friends. The cozy barn setting fits their love story beautifully and creates perfect backdrop for the beginning of their next chapter together.
