About the Couple

Lauren, from Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Cole, from Clinton, WI, first crossed paths in Chemistry class at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Fate sat them at the same lab table, where they bonded over solving equations and scribbling notes side by side. Years later, what began as a shared notebook turned into a shared life when the two reconnected on a dance floor in Whitewater. With Cole’s unforgettable dance moves, he won Lauren’s heart that night, and just a few days later, they went on their first date. From that moment forward, their story truly began.

The Engagement

On April 28, 2023, Cole asked Lauren the most important question of his life. Under the peaceful skies at George Williams College in Williams Bay, WI, a place special to both of them. Cole got down on one knee by the lakefront and asked Lauren to be his forever. She joyfully said “yes!” The night continued with an elegant dinner and a comedy show, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

The Big Day

Lauren and Cole chose The Hay Loft Barn because it felt instantly right. The perfect mix of beauty, warmth, and space to hold all the people they love most. Surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated their love story in a setting that reflected everything they wanted their wedding day to be: meaningful, joyful, and unforgettable. As the night came to a close, it was clear that Lauren and Cole’s love story is only just beginning. 💕
