About the Couple

Amber Barcalow and Coleman Moore are both Wisconsin natives who have spent their lives close to home. Amber is from Kenosha, where she grew up and built strong roots, while Coleman is from Milton and has always felt most at home outdoors.

The two met through mutual friends and quickly discovered how naturally their lives fit together. Fun fact they even walked together in one of those friends’ weddings just months later. Coleman followed Amber on Instagram in April 2022, but it was not until September that Amber made the first move and messaged him. Their first date turned into hours spent talking on Coleman’s boat, where one meaningful conversation after another marked the beginning of their relationship rooted in faith, gratitude, and love. The Engagement

On April 14, 2024, God blessed Amber and Coleman with a perfect 78-degree sunny day. They spent the day out on the boat, with Coleman doing his best to keep Amber distracted.

When they arrived at the family cottage on Lake Koshkonong, Coleman suggested they go check on a fallen tree from recent storms. As they walked between the trees, Coleman dropped to one knee and asked Amber to spend forever with him. The location made the moment even more meaningful, as the Moore family cottage is a generational place for proposals.

The Big Day

Amber and Coleman envisioned a wedding day that felt woodsy, cozy, and rustic. Their greatest hope was for everyone to feel comfortable and to truly have the best time ever.

Choosing The Hay Loft Barn was an easy decision. Being close with members of the staff, they knew there was no better place or people to trust with their special day. Surrounded by love, warmth, and joy, their wedding day reflected everything they value most.
