About the Couple

Eric, from Franklin, WI, and Taylor, from Dousman, WI, first met in a way that's becoming more and more familiar—through a dating app. But what set their story apart wasn’t just a swipe—it was their instant connection over a shared love for the outdoors. A fun, casual night at Sunset Bowl in Waukesha— was marked the beginning of something truly special.

Eric was immediately drawn to Taylor’s compassion and her love for animals, especially their two Brittany Spaniels, River and Whiskey, and Taylor’s beloved horse, Bo. Taylor fell in love with Eric’s quick wit, his kind heart, and his dedication to growing into the best version of himself.

The Engagement

Taylor and Eric’s relationship blossomed over shared hikes, hunting trips, ATV rides, and countless outdoor adventures. Over four years, they built a life full of laughter, loyalty, and furry companions.

In December 2021, with the winter air crisp and love in full bloom, Eric dropped to one knee and asked Taylor to marry him. With no hesitation, she said “yes!” The easiest decision she’s ever made.

The Big Day

For their wedding, Taylor and Eric dreamed of something rustic, heartfelt, and perfectly them—and that dream came to life at The Hay Loft Barn. With its simple charm and impeccable grounds, the venue was exactly what they envisioned: warm, welcoming, and effortlessly beautiful.

The barn’s timeless backdrop set the stage for their “I do’s,” surrounded by family, friends, and the nature they both cherish. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and love.
