About the Couple

Mackenzie and Trevor each grew up in small Wisconsin towns — Fall River and Randolph — and fate stepped in one night over a few PBRs when Trevor messaged a mutual friend asking about “any hot single friends.” Enter Mackenzie. Within a week, the two were on their first date at Monk’s and quickly hit it off. Both outgoing, relaxed, and lovers of the outdoors, their connection was easy, fun, and natural from the start.

The Engagement

It was the weekend before Trevor’s 30th birthday — and although he might say otherwise, Mackenzie had a feeling something big was coming. After dinner at a local supper club, Trevor made a quick (and seemingly normal) pit stop to change trail cam batteries. When Mackenzie stepped out to enjoy the view, Trevor led her toward the woods and handed her a turkey feather. Written on it: “Will you marry me.” She turned around to find him down on one knee — and yes, the trail cam caught it all!

The Big Day

Set against the rustic charm of The Hay Loft Barn, their wedding embraced a boho, rustic, and simple vibe. They included personal touches like hand-crafted boutonnieres made from turkey, pheasant feathers, and duck curl, and even had their beloved dogs join the celebration! With a whiskey barrel bar, a spacious venue for their large families, and a day full of laughter and love — it was everything they dreamed of.
